Seminar Saturday  4:00 p.m.
DSD: Hardware and Software Meet, An Update

  Venue: Aspen Amphitheater
Presented By: Dr. David W. Robinson, Positive Feedback Online
Panel: Jonathan Tinn, Blue Light Audio; Andreas Koch, Playback Designs; Michael Bishop, 5/4 Productions; Bruce Brown, Puget Sound Studios; Chad Kassem, Analogue Prod.; Dr. Rob Robinson, Channel D; Matt Ashland, JRiver; Cookie Marenco, Blue Coast Records

This seminar will be an update report and discussion of DSD and Double DSD as reference-grade formats for downloading and computer playback. The latest information about the use of USB 2.0 to transport DSD and Double DSD will be covered. Our panel will also discuss developments in hardware and software, and any advances that have occurred since last June’s seminar on DSD software at THE Show Newport Beach 2012. Download sites will be discussed, and any known issues will be covered. There will be a time for Q&A from our audience, and every effort will be made to give our listeners a chance to discuss their questions/comments with our expert panel. This should be a very informative session for audiophiles who are interested in the possibilities of computer-based DSD/Double DSD playback.
